Porzellan
Der wesentliche Unterschied zwischen Porzellan und Keramik liegt demnach in der Zusammensetzung: Porzellan besitzt einen sehr geringen Anteil an Fremdstoffen und besteht fast ausschließlich aus Kaolin und Quarz. In der Porzellanerde ist der Quarzanteil mit einem Viertel besonders hoch und verleiht dem Porzellan seine besonderen Eigenschaften. Eine weitere wichtige Eigenschaft von Porzellan ist dessen Lichtdurchlässigkeit, was ebenfalls in Keramikstücken nicht zu finden ist. Porzellan ist das edelste Erzeugnis der großen Warengruppe Keramik.
Vorteile von Produkten aus Zamak
Zamak ist ein unglaubliches Material aufgrund seiner industriellen Eigenschaften. Es ist eine Legierung überwiegend aus Zink, mit Zusatz von Aluminium, Magnesium und Kupfer. Diese Metalle sorgen dafür, dass das Zink besonders hart und widerstandsfähig wird.
